About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Situation

We seek to help educate, spread awareness, and support grieving families who have lost a loved one to fentanyl poisoning or illicit substance use disorder. We have begun to present in classrooms at our local school districts, The Children’s Crisis Center, meet with community members, partner up with the El Paso DEA/The Texas Advocates of El Paso/ The High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA)/Aliviane/Juvenile Detention Center/Discovery Education to educate and spread awareness.

My Story

I, Jennipher Talamantes (Founder) lost my son, April of 2020, to Fentanyl Poisoning. I felt alone here in EL Paso, Texas. I had a strong support group, but I still felt like those around me couldn’t understand the pain I endured daily. I decided to open Fighting to Save Lives in the 915 Foundation not only to bring awareness, but to help other grieving families that have lost a loved one to fentanyl poising or other illicit drugs. You are not alone anymore, please reach out.

We are now fighting back and bringing awareness by educating students, parents and the community. Bringing this awareness and being able to connect with other families that have lost a loved one to fentanyl poisoning has allowed me to use my trauma of losing my son to help other families cope with the loss of a loved one.
